| official forums still undergoing maintenance...50 hours later? |

I still can't access the CoH forums -- it's Saturday, and I'm still getting the "undergoing maintenance" message for the Friday morning maintenance.
I sent a ticket to support, but I am wondering if anyone here is having the same problem or if anyone has any information.

The official forums are unavailable to me right now too... guess we will have to wait patiently toghether!

I wonder if they will be down all weekend? It is Memorial Day weekend and could easily see them being down now.

but this forum is by far a happier and more helpful place than the offical (no i'm not bias) when i started this game i checked out the offical forum and w/ all the flaming and trolling, and uhg.... i had to find a place where i could actually get some questions answered w/o people yelling at me b/c i was a "noob" and what not... but this place here is GREAT!

I may post on the main site, but I only post on the Portector boards ever, because I actually KNOW the people there. :)

Hopefully the come back up soon. I need to make sure a Shard trial is still on for tomorrow.

Ok well apparently my short cut directly to the forums still works... so from that I can see of it, it looks like they're rebooting the entirety of the boards, sever of them are reading a "new forum" where the newest post usualy is.
The ones that were like that earlier today ad yesterday are back to having the posts in them (not that I can chek them) but I think they may be backing everyhing up.. or eitiding some things, BIG forum clean up. But they're down into the Server boards, so hopefully they'll be up soon.

Looks like they'll be out at least until Monday, the devs and forum admins would have noticed by now and if they were going to fix it there would be a notice on the news pages.

Well, make that Tuesday, since it is Memorial Day weekend :).
The only other site where people are discussing this is over at CoH vault (accessible by hot link from the CoH fansites links page). No one really knows what's going on though.
Maybe someone forgot to turn them back on? Maybe something bad happened (like some kind of hacking event or something)? Or maybe the main person overseeing them was taking a much needed long weekend and they didn't want them open and untended, especially with the freebie access?
Sadly, it is going to cause some havoc when they go back up. Ah well, c'est la vie.
NOTES: Here is the link to the forums where this is being discussed.
Here is a link to the actual CoH forums that allows you to see the progress of the back-up (I guess) but if you try to click on any of the forums you'll be redirected to the "we're closed" page.
