Im thinkin of buying doom 3 but ive never played any of the previous dooms will i not know whats goin on?

Doom 3 is not a sequel. It is like a retelling of the original story. Doom 1 and 2 are great games by the way, go to walmart, and by them.

or...if ur an xbox gamer...get the limited edition doom 3, and get dooms 1 & 2 with it, but i agree, doom 1 an 2 r awesum games

Yeah, I think it's $10 for the Collector's Edition pack, which includes Doom 1, Doom 2, and Final Doom.

Yeah they are $9.99. I bought them about a year ago, and I thought they were badass games.

ive played the original doom but ive never played doom 2, even though doom 1 and doom 3 seem alike and make sense without doom 2.

But what of the other Doom gamses for consules for the N64 and Ps1 there was Doom games for them, seemed to be the same as the orignal Doom 1 & 2 games.

Ive never played Doom1 I have played and beaten Doom2 and 3 many times But I think you will be fine if you go out and buy Doom 3
