Help to make armor

Hi all! How are you?
Anyone can explain me how I can make a good armor for a w/mo?
Im lvl 9 and Im in Ascalon city(pos-searing).
What I need and have to do?

Ok will this is the basics. Around some of the towns you will find armourers in Ascalon City the best is Corwin. You have to speak to him, according to your class he will display armour that you can buy in order to buy the armour you must give him two main things:

1)Cash, no one does anything without cash lol.
2)Resources, the items that the armourer needs to craft your armour.

The best way to get resources i have found without buying them from a material trader, is to salvage resources from salvagable items charr drop loads of salvagable items.

The only suggestion I have is buy the best armor you can afford. You can also salvage the weapon drops that you can't use to get crafting materials.

Yeah since you're a warrior you'll need good armour for being a tank!

Also if you get Runes I think you should use them on good armor and not waste them in an armor that your gonna change cuz it sucks.

Where I can get a platemail armor? In Ascalon there is onli ringmail =(

You should always buy the newest armor you can get. If the best armor you can get at the moment is ring, than you should go with a ring armor. I know people who try to save money and just walk around in their first armor to the point that they can buy the best. You wouldnt make it with your weakest armor vs good mobs of lvl 12 monsters.

Also an idea. Just look around ascalon for collectors who give you clothing. I only found one when i was your lvl.

Guys, from what itens I can get iron ingots with salvaging?
And can I get steel ingots with salvage?
Anyone know how I can get one of those flaming swords? Im curious about that.

you can get steel by using an expert salvage kit on swords, axes, hammers and shields apart from ones which have upgrades which you would get instead. the higher dmg weapon or shield it is the more likely you are to get steel otherwise you will just get iron. blue and purple items seem to give steel more commonly (i think its something to do with the shop value), the most ive got is 6 steel from a 'highly salvagable' shield hehe :)

you should always use expert salvage kits on armour drops for the chance of getting rare materials from them (unless its low lvl stuff like before yaks bend)

and dont bother using expert salv kits on staffs and bows unless you want the upgrade in it, you only have a chance to get wood from them so use normal salvage kits.

and those faming swords are quite rare drops (called firey dragon sword), max dmg ones ppl sell for between 1-3k if its clean

Hi,

well, rignmail is actually not the only alternative. However, if you like that stats than get it. Platemail won't be available until past ascension (crystal dessert).

You can get both iron and steel from salvaging weapons armour, but iron/steel comes normally from weapons (swords, hammers and axes). The amount you need will increase as armour quality increases later. Have a close look on whar special caracteristics the armour has (dmg absortion, plus amrour against fisical dmg...). Important too is the helm you gonna use! More Strengh? Swordsman? Tactics? Think about it. The flame sword has droped to my char several times (3 times) in the crystal dessert and in Fissure... don't expect a drop earlier. You will have to buy one if you can't wait until then.

as for the 'pretty fiery swords' (*sigh*) someone in the forum here posted a price check on a non max one... would likly work for you and is worth nothing to upper level characters... if you dont have one by the weekend, i think i have a couple pick ups sitting in storage, you can have one if the req's arent too high

Just to clarify, if you use an expert salvage kit on old armor chances are good that you will recover them, tho i would not as a rule recommend using anything but minor runes of anything other than vigor and absorbtion...

I would reccomend Ascalon armor even if it takes while to get the materials (Fur mostly) The damage reduction is really benificiall in the begining missions and quests

1)gladiator armour is good for warrior-monks mainly due to the energy bonus and the +armour vs physical and use that armour untill u get t the desert and then invest in some new armour at the desert.
2)the fiery ragons swords are not rare they drop anywhere so just keep alook out for 1 when oing the missions and killing some monsters i foud 10 before i even got to yaks ben so just keep a lok out and u will find 1

and when your lvl is high enough and you feel rich enough you could get the armor from the grotto or citadel, you will look really sweet in it

oh and for the fiery dragon sword...it's an over-rated sword (well, now I think people finally understand it) so don't spend too much for one of these: oh and just so you don't get raped by anybody: max dmg for sword is 15-22, for axe: 6-28 and for hammer: 19-35
