Does anyone here have UTComp and CarBall installed?
I've noticed that they both conflict and I can't work out how to disable UTComp just for the CarBall gametype.
Problems:
You can pickup weapons but not use them
You cannot change your vehicle
The ball keeps resetting
Any help would be appreciated, kLay.

I am also having these issues in carball
1. unable to use special abilities, such as quick flip and wheely
2. unable to fire weapons that are picked up
3. custom license plates do not work
I will also be asking these questions at the Carball forums to see if they have any ideas. http://www.carball.net/
Any help would be appreciated,
Bug

| QUOTE | | Carball is a gametype mod created for Unreal Tournament 2004. It involves the concept of using modified scorpions push the ball into a goal. Using powerups and teamwork the team that scores the most goal wins the match. |

Due to the fact that UTComp does significant changes to some of the core game classes, it's compatibility with custom gametypes and mods isnt guaranteed.
You could try disabling warmup mode, which might solve some issues.
If you want to disable UTComp only on the carball gametype, you could simply set up Epic's mapvote to not load utcompv16a.mututcomp on that specific gametype's Gameconfig line. If you want to use UTComp's mapvote to switch to Carball, but disable UTComp, this gets more complicated... You have to remove utcompv16a.mututcomp from AlwaysusethisMutator= in [utcompv16a.mututcomp], and manually add utcompv16a.mututcomp after mutator= to every mode= line in that same section, except carball's. Of course, you would not be able to re-enable UTComp through UTComp voting after voting to Carball, as it would be, well, disabled.
