Too much time on my hands

ok that was cute... and speaking as a former computer animation student... pretty well done :) and I'll tell you know the only thing that has EVER receved a "well done" from me is yoda in the latest Star Wars... I forgot he was CGI for a little while... now THAT'S good CGI!!! :)

I love it! Watching those transformers got me thinking about their old TV shows. I miss Beast Wars. oh, well. Very good music. It makes me want to not hate the 90s all that much.

Actually, I watched the Breakformer video a few more times to watch the moves, and I have to say the Transformers are better than the Citroen. Can you believe it? That Citroen was coreographed by Marty Kudelka, and someone in college showed him up!

Also, the music is just as addicting, if not more. I have to agree with RonJ - Let's get the CD so we can play it at the clubs!

heck I've gotta give the Citroen the thumbs up on the CGI as well... that's just funny. :)

- ok note on how big of a dork my hubby is compared to me... we're watching this... and he's naming the transformers that were in it... I only knew that they were transformers, not their individual names... maybe it's cause I grew up as a girl in the 80's and never really HAD any transformers... but still. Kinda nerdy.

He's wrong, then. There were no transformers in the series that turned into a boombox. The little white one was made up for the video. It's a Decepticon and is called Lazer. You can read its stats in the background near the end.

Actually there were TWO boombox transformers.

Soundwave was a decepticon, who came out in the first wave of Transformers. As far as design went...uh...well he was a very ugly boom box.

The Autobot version was called Blaster, and I believe was released about the same time that the Dinobots were released state side.

There were 5 cassette Decepticons. Rumble & Frenzy were like Lazer, that they transformed from cassette to humaniod form. Ravage converted from cassette to a mechano-panther. Laserbeak & Buzzsaw converted from cassette to mechano-birds.

Don't forget Buzz Saw's replacement, Rat Bat. He was the one that transformed similarly to Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw, but his wings folded out after they spread, making him look vaguely like a bat. His intro was around the time the Transformers: The Movie came out, either that or JUST after in the "Five Faces of Darkness" mini-series.
