Re: gates of Krtya

Lol, i did this quest with a party of 12-15 members and we failed terribely. Its the hardest mission i encountered so far. dont try to kill the mob of zombies but just lure them back to the white capes. On the right side of the map there are two powerfull healers. If you fight the monsters there you will have it much easyer. just plan everything out... 1 Lure the rest wait. Thats how i finished this one.

Hero Amun Ra --> Ele/Ran lvl 17
Sjaak --> Meleandru's Stalker lvl 16
Kitabatake Tomomori --> Ran lvl 5

Yay our first lvl 20 guild member ;)

Current Guild: HoeR -> Heroes of enchanted Realms
Hoer is also a Dutch word, try figuring out what that means XD

Active with MS lately so not much online

Re: gates of Krtya

Actually, there's a way to finish it in 10 minutes. Thats usually the route I take. Though I'll eventually write a quick guide on the subject, here's the skinny.

---

When you start out, right before you engage the first group of Undead (that will be running towards you) you take a left towards 'Oink' and a little hut like structure. Find the opening in the fence so you can find your way behind the hut. There's also usually a chest in this area.

Once behind the hut, you've gotta mentally prepare. Tell your team that there will be a lvl 16 Hellhound ahead. Once he dies, 40 ghouls / hellhounds will spawn and you will have a difficult fight on your hands. The trick is, before you kill the hellhound (EVEN IF IT AGGROS YOU) you've gotta kill the pack of Zombie Warlocks and Rangers to the right of the path. Their red dots should be visible on the minimap.

If you kill this group of mobs BEFORE the hellhound dies, then you will have a significantly easier fight on your hands when the 40 baddies spawn. If you kill the hellhound before the Warlocks / Rangers, once the 40 baddies spawn, the Warlocks and Rangers will come on down.

After you dismiss all of those guys you're ready for the finish. You simply walk around the corner and kill every undead in sight (avoid the poison). There should be around 15 Undead and 2 bosses scattered in the immediate area. Once they are dead, the mission is complete and you never needed to talk to an NPC.

In a smart group, its a 10 minute mission. I have yet to do this mission the proper way, I'm just a huge fan of the time saver of the Undead side.

Ah-ha! I knew there something to this. Personally I always die trying this. And I wasn't sure that it was worth my while even trying (after the 5th death you start to wonder). Now I know. Thanks a lot!

Re: gates of Krtya

I never thought this mission was so difficult, but everyone I've talked to says it is.... I guess the best thing you can do is find a good monk to take with you (the henchmen aren't smart enough to stay out of the poison) to heal the henchmen. The only other suggestion I have is try to kill them off in small groups and heal between the fights (you may have to walk back completely out of the poison to heal up henchmen).

I used nothing but hench and had no problem with this mission. My only problem is finishing the bonus. I got Oink to the little boy and initiated the bonus, but I haven't been able to find it. Can anyone tell me where it is?
