Well, I am level 7 Mo/N, close to lvl8. I was wondering, when can I leave ascalon? I've gotten all the skills (pre-searing) so far for my classes, and I have gotten the monk clothing from the collectors (except for headger and arm wraps, can someone please help me on that too?). I just haven't finished some quests here and there, and haven't really divulged into exploring some unkown areas.
When will I be ready to leave? o_O

well on my first character i left at about lvl 5 (ra/el) and it wasn't to hard killing enemies, but all my recent chars have left at lvl 1 lol, (its a bit hard finding grps at that lvl btw). 7seems like it would be a good level to leave pre-searing. and in my opinion quest really dont matter too much besides skills obtained

You cant get many levels higher then lvl 7, only if you try to get high leveled. The best monsters in pre are lvl 5. Ive yet encountered 2 of those creatures, 1 river drake near ascalon. And another rouge bull in the puddle also near ascalon. 7 is probably the level when most of the people go to post.
Hero Amun Ra --> Ele/Ran lvl 17
Sjaak --> Meleandru's Stalker lvl 16
Kitabatake Tomomori --> Ran lvl 5
Yay our first lvl 20 guild member ;)
Current Guild: HoeR -> Heroes of enchanted Realms
Hoer is also a Dutch word, try figuring out what that means XD
Active with MS lately so not much online

Apparently people were leveling up to 15 in Pre-Ascalon, which means they had to be going into the great northern wall and killing the level 8 char for xp and then something else.

i know someone who ascended when he was 15 lol. as for myself i was 18, but it seems people dont like to grp with you if you are low lvl. i mean the only difference is 20hp, and possible 1 skill. myself i would think the lower lvl would have more playing experiance.
but i would agree that 7 would be a good lvl to go post-searing and start rushing through missions

well i just created a character today and i left when i was lvl 7 it only took me like 2 hours. 7 or 8 is a good level to leave just make sure your combination of your character is what you want because if its not then your gonna get screwed and have to wait till you get like to the end of the game to change again.

It does not matter much. after searing the monsters get higher, but also the xp they yield is bigger. The xp enemies yield depends on your own level, and is divided by the party. In pre searing at 7 or so only the few higher, like 3 give some xp. after searing the gap with others is thus quickly closed. You can hunt in the first stages for xp, and after reaching 7 when the battles get useless do the quests.
But it is still fooling yourself. it is all about skills and not one or two levels more or less.

Well before i left the pre-searing, I got all the good armor from the collectors (which you did), got all the skills I could get (which you did), beat all the quests (which you didn't), and completed my map. I ended up being lvl 8 before I left, which out me in a good position for the post-searing. Anyways, you'd be fine leaving now, but it might do you a bit of good if you beat all the quests.
