| Dry Lobster Mixer Assault Tournament, Again! |

Last May, the first Dry Lobster Mixer Assault Tournament was held to try and shake up the AS scene. It was a fabulous success, with 12 teams, 101 participants, and some EXTREMELY close matches. In the last 4 matches of the tournament (Finals, Semi-Finals, Loser's Bracket Finals, and Loser's Semi's) every match came down to the 3rd map, and 10 maps were decided in the final 20 seconds.
Last tournament [MTX]Moyer & [MTX]Pibb both played and had a good time. And UTComp 1.6a is being used, with netcode, so you can't use that as an excuse not to play. We'd like to see some more guys from the TDM & CTF communities show up.
The teams will be picked by AS veterans in a giant, pug style draft. This ensures that teams will be very close in terms of talent, and it will hopefully produce the nailbiting types of matches we had last tournament.
So if you're interested in a light-hearted but still intensly competitive tournament, and looking for something a bit different, I highly suggest signing up.
