Well, I am (finally) a wizard and I have starting thinking what I am going to become next... I have to choose between Sorcerror, Necromancer and Warloc. I don't think that I am going to become a Warloc, because I don't like having a servitor to protect me. Furthemore, all a Warloc can do is summoning and upgrading the servitor... So I am between a Sorcerror and a Necromancer. I think that that is a difficult decision because I have heard that both of them are good classes. One the one hand, I want my charecter use dark power from the "underworld" and use fatal moves, so I believe I should become a Necromancer. On the other hand, the Sorcerror uses the power of fire (that are quite useful, because Humans have the fire as their element) and other kind of elemental power to destroy their enemies. But, a friend of mine (a clan's member) will become a Sorceror so in order for the clan to have many classes I think that I should become a Necromancer. Are there any quests for clans that need many classes? Plz answer to my questions...

Hello, new member here...^^ I have a necromancer(lv.55) and my wife has a sorcy(lv.60) so I can break down a little. A sorcy is pure damage, but lots of downtime(and she has great gear too, so she 2 shots everything). She is so-so in a party, but really comes down to being a crowd controller, unless there is a nice elder who will recharge her, then she can really do damage. Solo'ing, she has lots and lots of downtime, she goes through her mana pretty fast. Lots of high damage skills, good crowd control, but lots of downtime.
A Necro is a nice cross between a sorcy and a summoner. You have some nice damage skills(vamp claw, and death spike deal out the same damage as a sorcy's skills), and you have a nice summons for solo'ing(the skeleton is pure evil after lv.52, once ungraded it has insane atk.power). You continue to upgrade body2mind, and your deathspike costs almost no mana(but very expensive on the cursed bones) so you have not much downtime...when my mana is low, I go on a B2M + deathspike frenzy for 5 minutes, and my mana is full again. Curses are nice, but not many are useful. Gloom is really the same as "surrender to*insert magic type here*" Fear works on Greens and blues but fails a lot on whites, Forget is a great skill if sleep fails, it succeeds a lot and casts pretty fast. A necro can solo very well, with little downtime, but in a party, ou become a debuffer/crowd controller. With Vamp rage, you never need healing, and you can provide some damage in a party(poison cloud is nice for groups)...but, where a necro shines is in PvP...you are just plain death for any character in the game...silence spells the end for nukers/mages and Anchor/sleep + your zombie means game over for fighters...
It is really a personal preference...if you want a fast killing damage dealing machine, go sorcy. If you want a self-suffucient "jack-of-all-trades" character, go necro. I prefer the necro myself...hope it helps...have fun with whatever you choose.
