Tried a few servers,all seem to have bad lag.Is everyone experiencing this? I killed a few people,but shot the heck out of a lot more that didn't die. I shot someone in the head with a whole clip from 3 ft away and he turned and killed me lol,This is after i killed someone next to him with 2 hits.

Yeah im having loads of lag, even tho my ping is good. Thought it was just ranked servers but then found out its not :(

Your telling me I got a 89$ game just for lag? this is as bad as WoW, I just got it not more then 1 hour ago and already this lag is driving me crazy! so much for game of the year, more like Lag of the year. good gameplay and GFX but for a gamer running of Cable this game is smacked in the head.

Yeah, it was fine yesterday but today its alot worse for some reason...maybe because more people are playing it. However it still shouldnt do this, games like cs:s have other 3000 servers and u rarley get lag that isnt yur fault on that

The game was released in Europe and the UK yesterday. Many people won't have been able to buy it till today so there'll be loads more people playing it
Or so I'd imagine

That still dosent matter BF2 isnt like a MMO, that runs of the Host games sever(s). This game and games like CS and BF 1942 are run off the severs that are dedicated to it, like GameArena, is run of telstra severs or Internod witch is run off the Internod severs.
This is the game, or BF2 is run off a 1 port sever, what I mean by 1 port is that everyones PING counts towards the games total ping so if like 5 ppl in the game have 56k it counts towards the hole severs ping thus giving us bad lag but still keeping the sever optimal for all other players and giving the 56k'ers more chance to kill us DSL and Cable'ers. Its a stupid way to do gaming but I think thats what they are useing.
Just like Doom 3 where if some one had a Bad ping it would make every one lag.
