here are my specs:
Intel Pentium 4
2.4Ghz Processor
1gb of a RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 440 with AGP 8x
i was just wondering if i would even be able to run bf2. thanks for your help.

Bad news time . As of now BF2 does not support Geforce 4 cards . There have been a lot of complaints about that, and I don't know if it will change . Here is a quote from the README file in the game .
Battlefield 2 only supports the following video cards:
Radeon X700 (PCIe)

by the way, has anyone actually tried running a GF4 with bf2? becos at gamespot, if you look in the tech information for bf2, they say you need a Geforce 3 or higher...
then again, they r probably wrong.

I have seen a patch surface one the net that some say will make the game work on a Geforce 4, but you never know how that goes . From what I heard EA forgot to put one of the strings of data in right . The game also says Radeon 8500 or higher, but the 9200 Radeons are having problems .
My advice is to get the demo to make sure it works before dropping $50
