You probably should figure out what you want to do.. what kind of elementalist are you going for? Do you have any specific playing strategies in mind? Something that helped me a lot was checking out the skills section and just browsing through. I found a couple skills that I really liked, and picked a class combo that let me have them. Each class does something different, figure out which one fits into your idea of what you want to play best.
I was in a party today with four E/Mo's today, which was kind of funny, but we kicked butt. (I'm a R/E, and the sixth was a W/Mo but dropped out) Needless to say, there was no dying!
Also, I've been thinking about making a Stealing Mana for more Nuking Power E/Me. Someone said it wouldn't work very well, but I'm going to try it anyway, because I'm stubborn like that. :)

lol I just made an E/Mo lol.. Although I made her be a Energy Storage Healing Prayers monk... that and I already have a Mo/Me so wanted a different graphic 8P....
