| Black Screen After Splash Screen |

I installed the game with no problem. When i clicked on the Battlefield 2 icon that the installation program put on my desktop the Battlefield 2 splash screen came up then the screen became black. Then a "bing" noise came, and supposedly there was an error, but there wasn't anyway i could look at it for some reason. The only way i got the black screen to go away with out restarting my computer was to press the Esc key.
After all of this has happened i tried disabling my antivirus programs, and ofcorse that didn't work. I have a Sony Vaio computer and the specs are:

you might need a little bit better videocard... i had some problems with the demo, so i got a GB of ram and a Geforce 5500 256mb Overclocked videocard.
