Hollows Lights...

Has anyone heard anything about what the glowie lights that are floating around the Hollows are all about. I have a screen shot I posted here: http://cityofheroes.gameamp.com/gallery/vi...nshots/4447.php

They started with Issue 4, but I don't know why.

I never notices those before, but then I don't spend a lot of time in the Hollows. How common are they?

I dunno. They seem always to be around when there are "real" fights between the Hollows residents. So I'm not sure. I think they mean something.

Actually, they remind me of the psionic entities you sometimes see in sci-fi shows. If they show up around the real fights, then I think they are probably causing the real fights.

Actually, they are on all the time. They spiral upward into nothingness... and then repeat. Constantly.

Now thats interesting. I have not seen the lights, but i noticed the real fights and that they were lvl 15 enemies fighting almost on the gate!! When did this real fights start?? I only saw them today, never caught one before.

The real fights and the lights all started with Issue 4. People were so busy complaining about the Arenas, they didn't notice the subtle differences. :)

The only time I've been in the Hollows in I4 was for a AV mission I had and I didn't see them, but I wasn't looking for them. Now that you have brought it up I gotta give The Hollows a quick jump through to see them, since they are pretty spiffy looking.

I noticed them over by where the CoT have that big temple thingy with the floaty rocks and such near the Skyway entrance.

I've seen them ever since I first started, back in Feb. I figured they were just something showing the powers of the CoT. I mean, with all the strange structures around that area, i figured it was just some sort of given by-product of the CoT magic in those structures.

I never saw them pre-I4. So I'm not sure. I did spend a LOT of time in the hollows before I4 came out, so I think I would have seen them.

I just saw them for the first time today while history badge hunting in the hollows. They were centered right over a riot between CoT and Trolls. The minions were only like level 8 and 9, but there was a few CoT mages that I had never seen in there before, and they were lvl 15 and 16.

Maybe the lights are meant as a warning to low level heroes that big time baddies are near by....

You've seen nothing. It was just a solar flare that reflected off of saturn and nothing more.

The only place I have seen them is with the battles as well. took a screenie the other night I will post.

I haven't seen them yet, will have to go purposefully looking for them. One thing I am interested in is knowing which server ya'll are seeing them on that way we can make sure it is all servers.

As well, just fromt he evidence I have heard so far, the lights do sound like the mischevious forces that cause the riots. Will have to go look for them on Pinnacle though to find out...

Edit: After going back and looking at the picture something more popped into my mind. The lights seem to be circling that point, I wonder could this be the spawning point of something?

I'm on Triumph, but I've heard reports from various servers. It's across the board.
