| How to run BF2 with my 9200 |

I recently bought this game and it crashes every time I start it. Come to find out that my Graphics card is not supported. Can I download something to make it work or am I screwed?

Thats whats on the back of the game, and im guessing its there for a reason. This aint just to you but to everyone who has ben aasking whether it will work on there gfx cards. If your card isnt there then dont buy the game until you have one of those cards. Simple, and if you've already bought the game then, upgrade or you've probably wasted your money.

You don't need to download anything I have a radeon 9200 AGP, and I have been playing since just after BF2 came out . All you have to do is set you AGP to 4X . To do that just use the Smartgart tab on your ati controls .

Pop, I dont know where you read that, but my box says it supports ATI Radeon 8500+ and NVideo GeForce FX 5700+.
And RisingDead, I am not that great with computers, could you please help me out on fixing this? I dont know how to get adjust the whole SmartGart thing. I go to the SmartGart settings and it only gives me the options to turn PCI Read and Write On or Off and to test them. I really want to get BF2 to work and if you could help me out, you will be immortalized and a golden god forever.
Edit: Oh wait, I have a Radeon 9200 256MB PCI, so am I SOL then?

hey i have the same problem with the ATI RADEON 9200 and ive read most of the stuff on this site about it but i still dont know how to fix it can someone help me?? i am definetly no computer guy i dont know that much. How do i get to the AGP settings? can someone that knos what they are doing help me????
what is smartgart??
