How do you change a screenshot or any other picture's format to .utx?

If I remember correctly (not positive), you can import images into Unreal Editor and convert them to .utx through that... I don't remember exactly how :\ , but don't you have to do that when you add your map preview shot that shows up in the menu? You could try looking for UEd tutorials that show how to do that, and the process should be the same as far as converting the format goes.

Right now I'm building a map from Jak 2 called Haven City(I have a post in the Onslaught tips/questions section). I'm using the map from the game by using a camera and I wanted to know how to change the picture. Also, if you know of any good mappers that have Jak 2 or if you are one yourself, please ask them if they'd like to help me make the map or if you'd like to help, please reply back to this topic and include your/your friend's e-mail address.

OK well this is a very very good site for finding information about UEd:
http://wiki.beyondunreal.com/wiki/
And I actually needed to figure out how to import a texture last night so I looked there... as long as it's .bmp or a few other file types, you can import into UEd by simply opening the texture browser and clicking file-> import... from there you basically just choose a place to stick the file and what to name it (if you choose group "MyLevel" it embeds it within the map file), and it should show up in your texture browser from that point on.

Thanks. I did that on some textures but others gave me a problem: When I filled out the info, it took me to a nameless Package with nameless Groups. It had every single .utx package in that one. Is there something wrong with UED or with my computer, or what?
