Well you know that I am going to be a SpellHowler... But then again we are probably the only ones posting things in the Lineage 2 section of gameamp...
And I actually like Spellsingers, real cool class with a real cool look... If I were to start another mage, it won't be a SpellHowler because I have one, but it will be a Spellsinger. I like them a lot, esecially that fast casting speed, and they look pretty good in all clothes :)))
That sleeping cloud is very useful, in mass pvps, I can't say that I was able to do it and tell you the result, but I watched a mass PVP, 4 archers against 4 other people (Spellsinger, Prophet, and two Spellhowlers)...
It was so funny, everybody favoured the archers, but as soon as it started the two SH's went in front of the SPS and the Prophet stay right at the back... The SPS did a sleeping cloud and it worked on all 4 archers, then the two SH's did they Hurricane, and the SPS put them asleep as well, the two SH were getting a bit hurt from time to time at the front, so the Prophet kept on healing him...
So yes Spellsingers are indeed very useful whether in mass pvp or 1vs1
