The fact is that no one knows what this guy's problem is. And it is kind of funny when people actually try to guess. The post contains far too little information.
Your problems could be any number of things. The problem you are experiencing could relate to just about any piece of hardware in your system. From the power supply to the sound card. SOUND CARD? Yes even the sound card.
For anyone reading this: when you post your specs try to be as detailed as you possibly can.
RAM: speed, brand, capacity, configuration, latency.
CPU: clock, fsb, temperatures
MOTHERBOARD: give the exact model, and preferably model#
POWERSUPPLY: (by the way power supply is an important thing to rule on when troubleshooting for BF2.)
I have a friend who just bought a pci-e system and was running hl2 on maxed out everyday for bout a week. Then he started having problems. Long story short. He had a 200watt psu and didnt even check to make sure when he bought the system what kind and watt it was.
Your problem could be a driver issue, a ram configuration issue, a sucky motherboard issue(some motherboards are just crappily built and will give you instability in intense scenarios, like BF2)

i dont know about you, but im getting pissed off with this. People just buying a game without knowing the system specs?? It says on the back of the game what gfx cards are supported, read that before buying the game!! the 9200 aint on that list, so unless you find out if it works and how before buying the game, just dont buy it!
