I had the BF2 demo on my old pc and it worked fine w/ my Radeon 9200 AGP card. Just recently built a new PC and transferred my Radeon 9200 over to the new pc. Now BF2 loads the intro, then goes black. I entered the BIOS on reboot and the card is on 4x. ( funny thing is that it only gives me option for 1x,2x,4x, no 8x option)
But when I change the speed from 0 to 4x in the ATI contol panel (smartgart) it wont stay. Goes back to 0 after reboot.
I've installed the newest drivers for my motherboard.
Any ideas on what could be causing this.
System specs...
SOYO P4VTP motherboard
Pentium 4 2.8ghz
1 gig RAM
Radeon 9200 AGP

gfx aint supported read back of game... or ask someone how to make it work.

Apparently you can get that card to work if you can set the AGP speed to 4x, but how do I get it to stay at 4x?
