Re: BFHQ hacks?

Well Befor the Game came out, he was already high lvl. But I dont think its hacks, he could have been in a gaming comp with BF2. Or maybe he just plays Alot. In any case he is a good player and I dont think he has hacked BF2, if he did EA would be onto it.

Re: BFHQ hacks?

One thing a lot don't understand, is that almost anything can be hacked, and hacks try their wares as soon as a game comes out. In BFV, I've recently "seen" an invisible heli, flying around slaughtering everyone without being seen(or hit). Punkbuster, unlike Norton Antivirus for example, doesn't have the manpower Norton has, the constant updates, or the protection, so hacks can get in a lot easier. I've seen people just join a game, and in a matter of a few minutes, have 35 kills! Impossible without a nuclear blast hack. You can see someone first, start shooting them in the bacdk from 10 ft away, then have them turn and kill you, after emptying your clip into them standing still. Someday they'll figure out how to eliminate these kinds, but for now ,all you can do is go to another server and start over.

Re: BFHQ hacks?

Now there is a cheating that is not a hack it is right in the game, point stacking is cheating, some clans have gone into the corner of a game and just give eachother ammo packs and throw grenades, etc to rack up some major points, i have looked at the leader boards, and the highest player had about 24000 so i looked again the next day to find some1 with 33000, that is impossible, even with the secrets i have found, i can only get like 1000 a day most is about 2000 a day.

Re: BFHQ hacks?

The stat system definetely has some flaws. Point padding seems to be a popular strategy that I've seen many people use. It only requires 3 friends to get together to do it.

All you need is a medic and another player of any kit class on one team and another friend on the enemy team. Then the 3 players run off and hide on some isolated region of the map and the player on the opposing team kills one of his friends on the other team. The other allied medic revives the guy so that the opposing player can kill him again. The medic will revive him again so he can be killed again by the other player. This will be repeated over and over through the entire game. Then the 3 players simply have to trade off these roles between servers and they have a way of gaining points extremely fast without getting any deaths. This is because a player always gets kill points for killing someone but if that person is revived then they don't get marked for deaths and the person that shot them still keeps the kill score.

You can usually identify point padding pretty easy though. I've seen games where one person has about 180 kills and another person on the other team has about 360 team points and there is no one in the game with more than 5-10 deaths. I also didn't see these players anywhere in the game, so I can only conclude that they were off in a remote corner of the map using this technique.

EA definetely needs to do something about this. Personally, I think players that do this should have their account deleted and be banned from Ranked Server play for at least 2 weeks.
