Changing second profession

I have heard various reports that you can actually change your second profession. Is this true? If so, when can you do it?

Re: Changing second profession

Yes you can indeed change your secondary profession. you are able to do this when u play the game through up to droknars forge. there will be a quest called hero's challenge or jouney, forget which, just remember Hero's ____. and it will require you to go to hero's audiance, destiny gorge, and seekers passage in the scarlet desert. after you do this there will be a ghost NPC in each of those towns that will offer you a quest to change secondary profession
Destiny Gorge= Warrior and Mesmer secondary.
Seekers Passage= Ranger and Monk Secondary.
Hero's Audiance= Elementalist and Necromancer Secondary.

if you do one of the quest that becomes your secondary profession. if you do more then one of the quest you may talk to the npc and chose a secondary profession to switch to, so any time you go back you can change secondary profession. also, when you change secondary profession it removes all attribute points in your secondary profession skills. so if u want to use refunds, just go change secondary profession and all of them are refunded, then just change back =).

Re: Changing second profession

Thanks for the info. I changed it last night. The only part that sux is that you have to use skill points to get skills that you would have gotten through quests. Ahh well, I guess nothing is free :)

Re: Changing second profession

If you go back and tlak to the woman that gave you the Juorney quest, the one you get in Droknars' Forge, then (if you finished her quest) She'll give you another one that sends you to the Ice Forest, I believe, and that quest should give you 15 skill points, so it takes some of the burden off. Sadly, ya still gotta pony up the dough for the skills.
