I started hanging around in Talos, looking for groups. The freakshow is awesome. I love when they come back to life so we can kill them again. You can get xp twice for the same guy. Double prizes!

My main problem is that I have just been falling into bad groups that are under powered, have no idea what they are doing, do not work together, and disban as fast as they are created. I keep stacking up debt trying to save people who are even higher level than I am.
Add to that the vast number of know it all players that constantly try telling you what to do and when you click on them they are 2 to 4 levels under you.
Maybe this should have been in the pet peeve thread *GRIN*
I just need to find a large SuperGroup that has members and plays together nightly. Here I am a General in my SuperGroup and I am ashamed to even say what I just did.
The people who are in my group are some of the finest people I know. But I am sick of being alone.

I've talked about something similar to this with a few friends before, but most of the time CoH feels like a Single Player game. I can generally do what I need alone, and the chat window is so small its easy to overlook people that have spoke in the general area. Not to mention the range in which you hear chat is so small, you don't really hear a great deal of whats being said.
Since there isn't much economy in CoH people don't have the need to trade much, and because of this there is a lack of communication in the community and when you add this to effective solo leveling you have a quiet game that you really have to actively look for people to play with.
Your supergroup isn't lacking on activity, its just the way the game plays. I've felt it, and its obvious you have too.

Currently the "Group required but much higher reward" content is a little thin and not that much of a higher reward (TFs) but that will change slowly. From the few hints Statesman and crew have given us on the official forum were gonna be seeing some trials activated around the end of the month. When more group content is added you will see a lot more people trying to form groups to try out the content and from what I hear the trials are supposed to be pretty large scale.

I know that this should probably be in another section of the forum. But it kind of ties in with this one,except the opposite side of the level ladder. And that is what do you do with a new character, after you have repeatedly made new characters, trying out different archtypes and power sets without having to do the same old missions over and over, or hunting the same mobs over and over. I have done this so many times, I know the genaral spawn points of the mobs, and I know which contact is going to give which mission and at what level that mission is going to be available. I wish there was some way to change the lower level stuff around, I wish at the lower levels that the game could surprise me.
