Train up your DJ

Hiya, I was just thinking about all the Lvl 1 (or 2) DJ's, who spend their time doing the shows we enjoy so much.

Sure, it's fun Djing, but then again, they could use that time to lvl up their chars.

What I propose is building up a "DJ Training Group", a group of people who team up with the DJ's and the support and then scour the Zone, beating the bajeezus out of baddies and getting the DJ's some xp.

So, whaddya think?

IF we (The Protector) server get DJ Meow'Mix and that other guy, we will scour all of the server to lvl them up. Then again... I'd be willing to go on any server, almost anytime, and help lvl up the DJs. Not just Meow and Cirga. The only reason I say them is because they are usually the DJs on when I am.

Execellent idea!

I just proposed this to a couple of the DJs tonight as a matter of fact. Something was mentioned about how much they appreciate donations of influence, but I think there should be some teams out there willing to let a DJ or two leech off a bit of their xp while they bring up music and entertainment to listen to while we play.

I personally would have done it myself, but unfortunately the server that the show was on tonight was only one of my newbie lvl 2 characters so nothing i did would have helped much.

However if there are any freedom shows in the works, send a tell/email to Luanna Giovanni, that's my level 27, almost 28 and I would be happy to let them join up in a group and earn them some xp.

I'm not sure that would work. If the level gap's too wide, the lower level characters in a team don't get any xp.

Yeag, your level 2 char wouldve been perfect for it. I'll be doing it next time I'm on the same server as a show.

This is a great idea!!! Come on people! They give us the music we want to listen to and if they are not in a mission area there is not reason we can't get makeshift groups to let them leach exp off of us. Pretty soon we would be able to have them do events in higher level areas where there are safe places for low level characters to be and the DJ can get some cool needed powers.

I've got billions of characters, lvl 14 being my highest. I've got many lvl 3-6's, a lvl 7, a lvl 8 defender with resurrect, etc. I've got people on Pinnacle, Champion, and Infinity. I can do whatever is needed basically...assuming that my help is needed.

My stomping grounds are Infinity and Pinnacle. I'd be glad to help any DJ level if they haven't had much of a chance to do so on either server. I don't have a toon that can teleport friend yet, but I can easily make one for that purpose.

Here is another idea to go with it, if the toon is at least 5, we could always sidekick it while the other person "arrest" mobs and whatnot, but that would mean they would'nt be at the party either and have to be in the same zone to get the xp.

We got the FEVER for XPing our DJ's and STAFF !...

Someone who's about 2-3 levels below the rest of the group can can SK the DJ and stay at the party with the DJ. the others in the party can scour the zone.

I think we'll all be amazed how quickly we can get these people who entertain us up to levels.

And if anyone else is like me, they've got plenty of level ranges to bring people up with .

I'm in. I'll keep my eyes open for lonely DJ's ((yeah, right))

Yeah I am more than willing to give a helping hand. I am on Freedom Server. I am a lvl 34 so if you want some exp just let me know the toon's name is St. Micheal. It probably would go alot faster if u could find a lvl 28-29 person who would help that could sk you guys and I will go around getting u come exp. Just give me a shout if my services are needed

Just a little question-

Would this "lvling up your DJs" be during or after a show? Because lets say someone like DJ OzShadow, who is like lvl 24-how would you host a "safe" party in a zone like Talos, or Independance Port while the DJ's group hunts higher lvls?

i got 2 lvl 8's and 4 at around lvl 5 and below on champ server for staff and dj's. i get some good partys going so they can anytime join me.

my sg Mediocre Heros Inc on pinnacle has a power lvl strategy set up for any hero lvl 24 and under.
