| MP3 PRO is FREE and it makes the music sound better. |

Noticed I didn't get any responses...I'm tired of listening to stations that sound like AM when they could easily be sounding FM. I don't work for them, I don't know who wrote the plug-in...I'm just someone who games an exponential number hours a day and I listen to music CONSTANTLY.
Thanks for your time,
Bunny.

I agree. When I play CoH and have the radio on, it is too low of volume and sounds so AM. Maybe it's time for an upgrade guys? You could probably get more listeners too.

Yeah I noticed that. And volume isnt the problem its the quality. If you turn your volume up then all the sounds (including CoH) go up too, duh, therefor everything is too loud, and it hurts whenever something else is making a noise. So, in this case, when DJs are hired you should provide them with a link to a program to make the music sound like FM. aka Good.

The program won't help the sound quality. I don't DJ with this station, but I run a station of my own. Basically, this station and most others are running a low bitstream and this is most likely due to the massive amounts of people listening and the lack of bandwidth on their end. CD quality is 128kbps but if you aren't using a T1 or higher connection then you will only be able to handle about 6-7 listeners with 768 upstream.
As far as volume goes, the best thing you can do is turn up the main volume and the winamp volume and turn down the game volume. This goes with even listening to your own collection of songs, not just an internet station.
Anyways, the point is that you could have an mp3 that is 256kb quality and it will still drop to 48kbps if that is what the station is using. Not trying to flame anyone, just helping the station's end since I have a bit of experience with this issue. Hope this helps.

DJMouse is right. No matter what the bitrate of the MP3 it all gets downgraded to what bitrate we are broadcasting at... Last time I heard we broadcast out at 48kbps(?), so even though all MY MP3's are 192kpbs they get bumped down to 48 when I broadcast.
Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try.
