When I import a texture, I fill in the information needed (Package, Group, Name, LOD) and click OK. Then I'm taken to this unnamed Package with unnamed Groups and in this package are all the textures from all the .utx packages in my Textures folder. Why is this? Has anyone else had this problem? How do you properly import textures? Is using MGI PhotoSuite the problem? If so what are other applications I could use? HELP!

As long as you're importing a file type that's compatible, I don't see why it wouldn't be working...
What Package name are you saving it as? After it sends you to the set that shows every .utx, does it let you go to Open and then open the individual package?[/LINE]

I just call it textures (they're cheap textures I made myself). And yes it does let me go back to open to reload the packages. I also posted the same thing at forums.beyondunreal.com and found out that the dimmensions need to be 256x256 and the dimmensions I had were 200x200. I'll change it and see if it works.

aaahhh yea
I assume they already mentioned this over there, but there's basically a few rules to having compatible textures:
1) must be compatible file type
2) shouldn't be over the size limit
3) dimensions MUST be in factors of 2
I totally forgot to even ask about that.
