soooooo there is going to be a transformers movie coming out in 2007.... spielberg is the one who will be in charge of it... you can check out all the news (that is out so far) here

Love Transformer....I was lil kid when it was big and loved them. I cant wait to see a live action show. And by the way the breaking transformer...watched it couple of times and bookmarked for later watch.

So I watched the little Speilberg interview thingy that was on there. Did he just ignore the fact that there already WAS a movie that came out years ago?

Was not a big Transformer fan, when I was growing up Micronauts was the big thing (that should show my age).

I'm more of Transformers: Beast Wars fan, that was an awesome series right there! If they are able to make the CGI for the Transformers really nice and smooth, then I can't wait for it.

Though making it with real life people is gonna difficult, though the best CGI interacting with real life in a movie in my opinion is The Hulk.

Im surprised that no one commited on this fact. The Break Dancing Transformers waz made by College Students at the Univirstiy of Washington (Not D.C.). And from being from Washington i thought that was Amazing.

Well the official Trailer was released and damn I can't wait to see it. It even gives you a glimpse at Optimus!!! Oh god, I can't wait! Oh man the transformations look so damn cool!

I used to watch Transformers with my kids every morning before school ( it was Transformers then GI Joe ). I am looking forward to this movie. The kids & I had such good times watching the cartoon together.

Now to really show my age - i was a Johnny Quest fan.

O Yeah! Big transformer fan here..from 80s. Saw clips of the movie..FX look great...hope story holds up and they stick to their roots...never heard of actors though

While I think this is really going to be an awesome movie..its kinda disappointing to see how the bots are not going to be the same..

Even over the years how many verisons of Prime & Megatron has there been??

In my heart G1 will always be the Transformers as they should be. Rather the way I wanna see them as.

Like the X-Men movie, I'm perfectly fine with the bots not being the same as they were in the original cartoon/movie/toy line. These look OUTSTANDING. Michael Bay and Stephen Spielberg are bound to make it extremely entertaining.

just another bit of info on this upcoming film, Peter Cullen the voice of Optimus Prime and Ironhide from the original cartoon has been cast as the voice of Prime in this movie as well. Thanks to tons of folks contacting Spielberg and Bay through forums and e-mails, they looked into hiring Cullen for the role and he was very happy to accept. (I was one the many thousands who joined up to help get the original voice of Prime on board for this flick) All I hope is that there is no return of the song "the Touch" from the 1986 animated film, lol
