OK, so I really want to get me an Elder Black Widow, but I know that in order to do that, I would have to get rid of my Lvl 20 Melandru's Stalker.
What I would like to find out is if any of you guys have gotten one, and how hard it was to get. I don't want to get rid of my current pet just to fail and go w/o it for however long it takes for me to get 1 platinum again.
Any help?

i was close...>_<...i saw the spider then the enemies killed the person that stands in front of the statue... =(...
its fairly easy if you play witha group of poeple you know and people who listen, you only need to do a couple of quests

Thats a lot close than I have gotten, cant even find the stupid thing down there. And I feel the same way I dont want to give up my pet for another that I am not sure to get.

I believe the first spider you can capture is do the first quest from the lost soul in the beginning to kill the terrorweb spiders guarding the first grenth statue and reaper. and then get the a quest to find other reapers. The closest 2nd reaper will be near the tortured souls and mayor aligheiri.
I would recommend clearing out all the hostiles before obtaining the find-all-reapers quest. After clearing out another group of terrorwebs, the 2nd reaper will appear and you will have to do another quest to fight some hostile spirits and save the friendly spirits from getting killed.
After that a chest will appear with the spider.

Shame that spiders are the hardest to get because I would rather keep my Stalker :'(
Im pretty sure there not level 20 when you get them I seen 1 once before and I think he got it... I dont want one. People love Dune Lizards aswell. blegh.
