| Background |
The Sidhe are a matrilinial clannish family originally from the Ascalon Foothills. The women of this clan are steeped in Nature\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s lore and devotees of both Melandru and Dwayna. Due to their somewhat isolated location and their liking of tall, handsome Warriors, recent generations tend to show certain familiar traits. Thus Ban turned out to be a tall, strong pale-skinned red-head.
Recognizing that the gifts that Nature and Dwayna had given her were not best suited for a true follower of Dwayna Ban decided at an early age to follow the path of the Defender.
The recent Charr incursion and consequent Searing caused Ban severe heart-ache as it left her clan decimated. Few familiy members survive, her baby half-sister Salie Sidhe for one, but many, many have died. She therefore sworn an Oath of Vengance against the Charr who are the cause of her personal desolation. She can often be found in the city of Rin, alone, taking out her pain and frustration on any Charr stupid enough to come near.

Ban Sidhe is a stoic fighter, hdiing her deeper passions beneath a veneer of professionalism. She\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s a Defender of Dwayna, hence she\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s rarely found charging headlong into the fray, except if there are Charr around. Her background brought her up to defend the True followers of Dwayna and she will do the same for like minded people not of her clan.
Her stoic nature assures that she\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll take the punches and not nag about healing but use her own innate abilities as much as possible.

When not slaying Charr in Nolani Mission, I use Ban Sidhe as a Defender, which is to say she defends the Monk and other Casters. Some people call this a Meat-Shield but I don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t like that term.
