| History |
After receiving an invitation to Shing Jea monastery for training, Talis decided that it would be a perfect opportunity to further his studies as a Necromancer. Applying himself to his studies, he received respect (and sometimes fear) from his contemporaries, partially due to the fact that he rarely socialized and always appeared, to most people, indifferent, distant, and at times cold. He did however have standards, and to their faces blew off some of the instructors -- and a headmaster -- who seemed to have their priorities wrong, in his eyes. Where Talis was concerned, he was there on his path to being the greatest Necromancer he could be.
After a distinguished period of training at Shing Jea, he moved on to tackle other affairs but still returned to the monastery from time to time, to check on his sister, Lily, who had enrolled for training herself. He's never too far away from where Lily is, just in case she needs a little help. Or in case that moronic Elementalist 'headmaster' tries anything.

| Personality |
Although he appears terribly cold and aloof to most people, he's actually quite approachable once you get to know him. The problem is, most people wouldn't take the time. Still, his sister Lily is one of the people that does know him well, and she things he's often just cute in his nature. The truth is, he isn't really cold and distant, he's just socially unsure and doesn't like to make mistakes.
He doesn't like crowds very much and prefers the solitude that abandoned temples, shrines, and systems of caverns give him. However, if he does actually manage to form any kind of interpersonal relationship with someone else, he's quite happy to have them along. But being around too many people he doesn't know makes him anxious.
Secretly he's a bit of a collector and loves knick-knacks and baubles, and pretty things that may not have any real value except to him. He has been known to hoard trinket after trinket and is always reluctant to sell them, just in case they come in handy one day.

| Family |
Sweetie Pinky Lily, or just Lily as he calls her, is his little sister. He is very, very protective of her and wouldn't let her come to harm under any circumstances. Possibly why she doesn't really date, because if anyone ever broke her heart, they'd have an angry Talis to deal with...and probably about a hundred angry fiends as well. Lily is his little flower!
