There can only be...ONE!

clear gif
It finally happened! The two games City of Heroes and City of Villains have officially become one game... COMPLETELY.

Community Relations Manager Lighthouse revealed today that any account that only allowed access to one side of the game would now allow access to both sides from the time this is implemented.

According to the announcement, all current single game (CoH or CoV) accounts will be automatically upgraded to allow the player access to both sides of the game instead of just one. A similar upgrade to existing accounts occurred after the release of the combined games in the Good versus Evil Edition, but that did not include the single-side games still on retailer's shelves. With this paradigm shift, any single-side (CoH or CoV) boxes bought from now on will register as essentially a Good vs Evil Edition.

And there was great rejoicing.

The complete announcement can be found on the Official Boards HERE.

Hooray! The villains have completely taken over. COH has been reduced to a mere add-on.

Indeed.

Although, I've been trying to cut back on the flesh eating, so maybe now's as good a time as any?
