So, not very soon after i11 came out, I decided to join the crowd and make a Dual Blades/Will Power Scrapper. I also wanted to keep with the Ouroboros theme of time travel, and included it in the creation of my newest character. Thus, Adamant Arsenal was born.
*Don't ask me why, but I think Arsenal just seems to be a word that can easily be tacked on a theme and make sense*
He is the son of Dark Arsenal from the not so distant future, brought to present day Paragon by a faulty Portal Corps....portal. Now he's forced to wait until the scientists at Portal Corps can fix the portal back to his time. But, knowing that his very presence in this time period can have a drastic affect on his future, he has to be cautious in what he does. He had been given his Uncle's sword before the portal incident, as well as another legendary sword called "Crimson Lotus"
So I've recently gotten Adamant to level 25, and it occurred to myself that I never fully explained (at least in my head) how a Science Scrapper has Willpower. I've got a rough idea so far, consisting of how he had been genetically altered before he was even born. *Now this is just a rough idea mind you* I'm thinking that Dark Arsenal's "reproductive systems" were also affected by the introduction of his dark powers. So needless to say, this affected Adamant when he was born, giving him the Willpower to withstand damage. I guess this would technically make him a Mutant Scrapper, but through my line of thinking it was still a scientific process that gave him his powers. |

I feel that I need to warrent a reason as to why many of my characters share the same original look of my first hero, Dark Arsenal. To be simply put, the proceeding characters after Dark Arsenal are "related" to him, so to speak. I hope this will help clarify a little, and add to the story I'm trying to convey.
*ahem*
-Holy Armory and Dark Arsenal are "brothers"
-Using the money he had amassed prior to arrest, Holy Armory constructed a cloning factory in the Rogues Isles. It is here that he perfected the process and creates first clone and loyal servant, Holy Armaments. Holy Armory had been stealing technology over the past ~3~ years so that the factory can begin "full production"
-Soon after acquiring a sample of Dark Arsenal's DNA, the first Netherworld Tech is created. Netherworld Tech is an exact double to Dark Arsenal, with the only difference being his mechanically enhanced physique. Netherworld Tech commands a horde of Zombies to do his. and ultimately Holy Armory's, bidding. He can also command dark powers similar to Dark Arsenal's.
-Full clone production begins at the factory, with several Netherworld Techs that have not been animated yet.
-The Warshade Kurai Hekikura, while fleeing from the Nictus attempting to capture him, arrives in the Rogue Isles at Holy Armry's factory.
-Noticing the inanimate Netherworld Tech clones inside the factory, Kurai begins fusing with one. Now inside his new body, Kurai continues his escape from the Nictus and a very angry Holy Armory. Making it to Paragon City, Kurai is recognized as Dark Arsenal. Kurai registers as a hero under the name Umbral Arsenal, and is currently searching for Dark Arsenal.
-With the help of Holy Armaments and Netherworld Tech, Holy Armory upgrades the factory with even more stolen technology. He is now able to get "creative" with the clones, combining the DNA of multiple heroes to create the "Netherworld Unique" clones. Currently, only two Netherworld Uniques exist:
Netherworld Inferno Dark/Thermal Corruptor
(Combination of Pyro Soul and Dark Arsenal's DNA)
Netherworld Frost Ice/Psy Dominator
(Combination of Battle Zealot, Dark Arsenal, and a soon to be created Psy/Mind Blaster)
-A third Netherworld Tech is animated, named Netherworld Shadow by Holy Armory. He is possibly the closest clone to Dark Arsenal, possessing nearly identical powers as him (DM/DA Brute).
Now, all this information doesn't answer the question as to why Holy Armory dresses his clones in the same manner as Dark Arsenal. To state in the simplest matter, Holy Armory HATES his brother. He blames him for being arrested, and blames him for the death of their parents (more on that later :P). To get revenge, Holy Armory dresses the clones (and himself) similarly to Dark Arsenal in an attempt to frame him for the crimes they commit. Dark Arsenal would have been in jail if it was not for his "lady friend" Amy Armada (more on that later as well >.<) This also explains why Umbral Arsenal is dressed in the same fashion as Dark Arsenal. |
