Liz the Lizzard aka Elizabeth Cunningham, born and raised on a horse ranch outside of Paragon City. Cunningham ranch is one of the largest horse ranches in the New England states.
Twins are a thing that runs in her family, also her parents are Catholic, so she has quite a few siblings (one being her twin Scarlet)...
Her father 1st placed a gun in her hands at a very young age (he felt 6 was old enough to learn how to shoot a bb gun), and from the 1st shot she fired she was a natural. She was very focused on learning how to use every gun she could get her hands on (her fathers collection helped out a lot). She also had a knack for taking things apart and putting them back together working better, and at the age of 16 she began to work on her master piece: a multi-purpose gun that can be used in many different ways, she is still tweaking it today, but so far she has made it capable of shooting a mp30 grenade, a buckshot, a slug, a flamethrower, and she even got the full auto perfected...
When Liz turned 19 she was sick of the farm and felt her talents were being wasted living there w/ all the evil that was taking place in Paragon City, so she told her parents she was going to go to college (to be a veterinarian) there.
When she got to Paragon she realized she was really in over her head and found some "real" superheroes show her the ropes, and she realized that the human brain can do some very powerful things, she learned to fly and teleport friends close to her and she has even learned a little bit of electrical manipulation (not enough to brag about though).
Today you can find her fighting crime all through out the city, and couch surfing w/ friends pretending to be a poor college student. She has a bit of a cocky attitude (ok a really cock attitude) and she is a very big smartalic, she also doesn't usually call people by their real name, she likes to make up nick names that the person usually isn't fond of (unless of course she likes you, then she will call you by your real name).
And as a side note, she has never told anyone why her superhero alias is Liz the Lizzard, and she won't answer anyone when they ask.
